Aug 8, 2012 - Kiribati, a nation in the Pacific Ocean formed by 32 low lying coral islands scattered over an area that's roughly the size of India, is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to climate change and sea level rise.

As  Coordinator of the UWC Kiribati National Committee and founder and Head of the Kiribati Training Centre for Professional Development (KTCPD), I humbly appeal to any individuals  who can donate some money to the UWC International Office and the UWC Kiribati National Committee for a scholarship fund which will enable us to send students from Kiribati to study in any of the UWC colleges abroad in order to find possible solutions to climate change and sea level rise.
